Kids Music Planet Mega CD Giveaway

The Kids Music Planet Podcast has announced a "Mega CD Giveaway." Hosts Lisa and Monty Harper will be giving away 50 different children's music cds to one lucky listener! The prize package includes many titles that have been reviewed in the podcast, from artists such as Charity & the JAMband, Katherine Dines, Pam Donkin, Erin Lee & Marci, Monty Harper, Sammie Haynes, Paul Helou, The Hipwaders, Mary Kaye, Brady Rymer, Sugar Free Allstars, Uncle Moondog, & Steve Weeks. The package includes many other excellent artists as well. See the full list of cd titles below.

The winner will be selected at random on June 1, 2008. The deadline for entering is (extended to) May 31, at 11:59PM EST.

There are three simple ways to get your name into the drawing. In fact, listeners who help spread the word will be able to enter multiple times.

You can find out how to enter by listening to the May 7th edition of the Kids Music Planet Podcast. The podcast is free and is available through iTunes or through KidsMusicPlanet.blogspot.com.

The Kids Music Planet Podcast is a weekly podcast featuring "audio tours" of children's CDs, interviews with artists, themed collections of songs, and music news. Each edition also features "Evalyn's Pick," a song selected by the Harper's seven-year-old daughter, Evalyn.

"We receive a lot of music submissions," says Lisa, producer of the show. "Children's bands are popping up out of the woodwork these days, and we feature only the best of the best of what we get. The CDs we review are filled with excellent writing and musicianship. They carry universal appeal for kids as well as adults."

"Our mission," says Monty, "is to show the world the breadth and depth and value of children's music as a genre!"
